Destiny Florida Weather in the Summer

Summer is the best time to visit the city of Destin, with temperatures that can reach a staggering 89 degrees in July and August and rarely drops below 75. The locals and tourists tend to congregate around the beaches at this time of year, flocking to the many activities that are available here, including our own Dolphin Tour.

This tour will take you away from the searing heat of the city and into the cooling sea, where you can do some dolphin watching and even take a dip in the emerald waters that earned this city its nickname: the Emerald Coast.

Back on shore you can enjoy the pearly-white beaches that litter Destin’s coast. These beaches are covered in pure white sand which consists of a finely ground quartz—it’s like walking on sugar.
